We are working with CIEE Monteverde to use the pLAM to monitor animal behavior as part of a Tropical Field Ecology Course. Undergraduate students set up tests to see how different conditions alter activity. One project looked at how the presence of a flower activity altered butterfly activity and surprisingly found no differences with and without the flower.
